The beds are amazing! We loved the layout of the room and the extra touches (like the ceiling) that made it quaint and cozy and not like a basic hotel room! The location is fantastic! We loved being so close to the ocean and being able to see the lighthouse glow at night!

Take away from my review what you like. This place is awesome! Cozy, rustic, and located on the beach, this motel offers parking at your door with steps that lead to the beach. The beds are perfectly comfortable to serve their purpose. Furniture is retro, which adds to the charm. My room, 3A, had an outdoor porch and an enclosed porch, both with rocking chairs. BONUS - OCEAN VIEW. The motel appeared to be at capacity and there were no issues with noise. Yes, you can hear some doors close loudly, but the disturbance was minimal at worst. If you want or expect the white glove treatment, this is NOT your place. If you want a bed to sleep in, bathroom to do your business and shower, and want to be on the beach, this place is it. I will be back! I guarantee I saw zero bugs in the room. There was a cute outdoor kitty and some fun crab watching from the porches.
