The staff were fantastic. The room was great. The air conditioner was fantastic, and the ceiling fan too. There was mosquito netting around the bed (although I didn't see any mosquitos, probably because of the air conditioning?). Breakfast by the pool was very nice, and the many resident dogs were very good boys and girls. I also recommend a couple of drinks: the Caribbean Dream and the Choco Loco.

Best hostel we've stayed in so far! It is very clean (especially the shared toilets and showers), the pools are great, there are loads of options to hang out, and things to do (pool, ping pong, jenga). The staff is very accommodating and the food in the restaurant is awesome. Would definitely recommend!!

Situated within 100 metres of Palomino Beach in Palomino, Maria Mulata Palomino has a garden and a bar, as well as free WiFi throughout the property.

Rooms are complete with a shared bathroom fitted with a shower, while some rooms at the hostel also boast a patio. I stayed in different hostels in Palomino and Maria Mulata was my favourite place to be: It’s right next to the beach and has incredible good vibes! Gracias por todo y hasta pronto!

Set in Ríohacha, Guajira region, Hammocks - Hamacas is situated 100 metres from Playa de Riohacha. The hostel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service.

At the hostel, the rooms come with a wardrobe. At Hammocks - Hamacas, all rooms include air conditioning and a shared bathroom. No complaints! It's basic but well-run. Joshua speaks good English and provided details for a 3 day tour of the desert - also recommended. The hammocks were strong and comfortable.The air conditioning works, there are lockers (bring your own padlock), a courtyard with chairs for socialising, and the beach is a very short walk away. I stayed here twice.

Hostal La Media Luna Palomino is located among the scenic trees and plants of Palomino and only 1 km away from the nearest beach. The open-air hostel offers a shared lounge.

Ceiling fans and mosquito nets are featured in the hostel. The open-air environment allows guests to easily observe the surrounding landscapes from their rooms. A straw roof covers wood ceiling beams. Stone sinks and showers are provided in the communal bathroom. La Media Luna was my favorite place to stay in Palomino. Palomino can be hot, dusty, noisy and touristy. Juan (the owner) has created a space that is cooling, clean, peaceful and homey. He is one of the nicest people I've met anywhere in all my travels. My girlfriend and I felt comfortable going into Palomino and getting sweaty and sandy, knowing that we were coming back here where we felt at home. Like all places in Palomino make sure to bring bug spray for the evening mosquito hours, have the homemade Panela tea with breakfast, spend time in the perfectly placed hammocks, give the dogs some belly rubs, and enjoy the lushness of the pool area. Rancheria Utta is located in Cabo de la Vela. It is a simple property that offers a private beach area, restaurant and a small market on site.

The dormitories are functional and offer the guests a single bed and shared bathrooms. we libre all the experience, the people, they had vegetarian food and that was amazing. all the place full recommended

It was a nice place to stay, social places were really nice and I felt secure there.

Certain units have a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Certain rooms feature views of the garden or city. such a great place to enjoy Palominio! walking just 10 min down to the beach or to the main street. so you have a quiet place but still close to the action. the pool is a big plus to have! I really liked the atmosphere of the hostel! not a party place. still you here the noise from the street or other restaurants and music from places around. I had a private room, liked the big bed and room size. they could habe more space to put staff or to hang, but everything else was great! the place is very well maintained and clean. the staff is so great! helpful and friendly!!!! I rented a motorcycle to explore the area and beaches around. there are many restaurants and shops on the walking street. I really enjoyed Palominio!!!!
