Hotel Charlotte, hotel in Groveland

This historic old-west boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Groveland, CA is a short 30-minute drive to the entrance of Yosemite National Park. Pine Mountain Lake is less than 5 minutes away.

Fin is the greatest host ever. Funny, enthusiastic, he made the check-in process an experience in itself. The building is well maintained, rooms are small, we could have used a desk or table in there but other than that it's a great place. In the bath adjust water temperature a bit then wait 10 seconds before re-adjusting. 1 hr drive from Yosemite Village

Groveland is a small town just a short drive from Yosemite’s Big Oak Flat entrance. It has restaurants, a few gift shops and a small grocery store with ample supplies. There is a gas station on the edge of town. It was a good place for an overnight stop.

The town is some 25-30 minutes from the Rush Creek resort where we stayed. We only drove through Groveland, it seemed to have a lovely one block downtown with BBs, restaurants, and a few other stores. On the road to Yosemite from San Francisco through Manteca, Groveland is the most picturesque little town.

I had trouble finding Groveland, was late at night. the owner/manager came and found me! Wonderful service. Had problems finding the correct roads to Groveland, then to Yosemite. I did finally get it all together and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Unexpectedly charming town with way more facilities then we had imagined. The local saloon is awesome, so is the grocery store. We didn't really have time to explore the other options (as we were there to visit Yosemite) but there were plenty more interesting eating/drinking options around.

I wanted a more plush room.

I wanted a more plush room. This one is adequate but the pillows were too hard and the bedding too thin for winter. Also the bed itself was not plush. It’s not the fault of Westgate. I tried to book at another more plush hotel but I was told there were no more rooms. Come to find out there were no more rooms at the price Booking.com got to offer. I’m learning.

Double queen room was large and comfortable with lots of natural light during daylight hours. Great shower! Expansive wrap around porch right outside the room was delightful. Whole building is thoughtfully designed to be a B&B. It is both charming and highly functional. The Iron Door Saloon in nearby Groveland (2 mi) was great fun for a casual dinner. Breakfast was made to order when we were interested in eating it, rather than at a set time. Thank you, thank you! Hosts were helpful, friendly, and engaging.

Truly an amazing experience at All Seasons Groveland Inn. We stayed for 2 nights. The hospitality from the owner Tammy is TOP notch. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable! Bonus: Tammy makes an absolutely delicious breakfast. The location is perfect too, walking distance to some really cute restaurants and local pub. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to visit again if we are in the area.

Lovely house/ cabin in grovelands about 1hr 20 mins away from yosemite village. Very spacious, fully equipped and a great stay with family and kids. Lots of games to play and a games room which was a hit with the kids. We were there in July and the lake in grovelands is amazing and so warm that everyone was swimming in it. Host was very responsive to any questions.

Lovely, spacious kitchen with everything you need. The bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. Off season, there are deer in the garden, and turkey vultures floating on the thermals. Very close to Yosemite National Park, where we spent most of our time. Friendly people around, despite our tourist status, beautiful surrounding area, and a cute town.

Good location, fairly close to Yosemite (40 min or so), however the groveland town is very charming itself. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was very clean and full of character. The food served at dinner was amazing and the breakfast place next door didn’t disappoint.

Breakfast included. Eggs Benedikt were super delicious. Close to Groveland for Dinner (I recommend the Iron Door Saloon). Perfect if you want to rest for your next day hike at Yosemite NP (30 minute driving distance to the West Gate). Saw more wildlife during our stay there, than in Yosemite NP itself. Awesome night sky!

Cute, quaint. Room on the small side, but clean. About what you can expect for a historic hotel. We arrived close to 9 so were glad the tavern across the street was able to offer dinner - was good.
