With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... Views are spectacular. Hotel is surrounded by mountains, greens & farms, 30 min walking distance to the Bassenthwaite lake. We swam there. Staff and boss were so friendly and tried their best to meet our needs. I must thank Brett and his team who arranged our dessert marked 'Happy Anniversary' on our special day. We were very satisfying with our stay there.

Hi, The communication from the hosts through out this weekend and the build up was great. The location is fantastic for days out in the surrounding areas. The cottage it self was bang on. We would definitely book again.

Nestled in the heart of breathtaking scenery, this charming B&B offered the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, providing personalized service that made us feel right at home. Each morning, we were greeted with a sumptuous breakfast that catered to all tastes, featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The room was beautifully appointed, with attention to detail that ensured a luxurious and restful experience. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. The cottage is beautiful, very tastfully equiped, very clean. The landlord Richard was extremely nice and helpful!

With a beautiful riverside location, Rydal Lodge Hotel offers elegant Lake District accommodation, 2 miles from the centre of Ambleside. We had a lovely stay at Rydal lodge. It was the perfect little getaway! Mark and Helena went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, giving us advice on where to eat and walk. Our room was comfortable and cosy. The gardens and surrounding area was beautiful, with easy access to Rydal lake. Couldn't recommend enough!

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. We were immediately welcomed and given a tour of the beautiful building, including the garden and the two lounges. Everywhere was kept toasty thanks to the fire places, and there were lots of books and board games available to pass the time. Our room was spacious, clean and kept supplied with lush hot chocolate, tea, etc. We had a fantastic view of the lake too. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Had a lovely chat with Ed one day, then Angela the next! The food was fantastic, I would highly recommend grabbing at least one dinner there, and definitely go down for breakfast every day. Wonderful selection, and exceedingly tasty. Incredibly cooked by the owner and solo chef, Richard!

Amidst the scenery of the Lake District, this family-run bed and breakfast provides rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the fells. Having a friendly host with great advice for the local area was much appreciated. We really enjoyed the walk to the water fall. We really enjoyed the lovely breakfast that you served up. Cheers Phil

Overlooking Lake Windermere, Lindeth Fell offers impressive views and free parking, just 5 minutes from Windermere Ferry Crossing. Warm, cozy, homely atmosphere. Very courteous staff, good food, beautiful rooms. Fabulous surroundings and view of lake Windermere.
