Perfect little retro house with very sunny balcony. Very comfy beds. Plenty of everything needed to self cater. Perfect retreat for tired hikers . In old town near all the restaurants and hiking trails. Beautiful view of surrounding countryside from balcony. Easiest one of the nicest places we stayed on our 9 stays for the hike. Easy self check in . Sofa bed downstairs is more private than other sofa bed options are the main house is upstairs so feels like a separate bedroom . Offering a garden and quiet street view, Casa do Lado is situated in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 1.2 km from Lighthouse Beach and 700 metres from Sao Clemente Fort. Excellent B&B ! Everything you could wish for in a B&B experience : fine room (ours was on the ground floor) with a spacious bed and ample storage room. Perfect bathroom with a great shower and an impeccable host (or his sister) serving a great breakfast. Definitely a lodging to return to.

The best place I stayed at in Portugal. Everything was really nice and clean, I especially loved the common area, the kitchen had everything and the owner was very nice and took us to the market and back by car
