Visiting the hotel was a unique experience, the architects kept the style of the monastery but at the same time they added a touch of the modern hint to the accommodation . The food was great, the hotel staff were really nice and helpful. The surrounding of the place is calming and helps the visitors to calm their mind.

This hotel epitomises good taste in furnishings and general hospitality.
From the moment one enters the Hotel’s court, one senses ‘something good’. The hosts are profoundly welcoming, yet at the same time, totally professional.
A wonderful place to recuperate from daily life.

Most museums were closed and so we had very few options to do. Most shops were also closed. We still enjoyed checking out the historical architecture... the old town was really sweet, lots to admire. Roman remains, Renaissance buildings, Fire Tower, good coffee and good food :)

Sopron is a pleasant relaxed city.
Sopron is a pleasant relaxed city. We appreciated the relative quietness of the place and that we could wander around without bumping into crowds. The old town is charming, and the 'Healing Pit' (Gyógy Gödör) is a great pub/restaurant. The food and drinks are delicious and the service is very good.

I use this hotel every time I am in Sopron on business, average two times a year unless it is fully booked up. It is under new management ( I have used it for 15 years ). The one criticism of the hotel is that checkout is at 10AM whereas most hotels of this standard checkout at 12, and that was the case before the new management took over. Beware!

Nice town close to Austrian border.
Nice town close to Austrian border. The center is very nice, and there are evident signs of a great past (starting from Romans). There is not a lot to see, besides the walk around the walls and some visits to the Tower and the historical landmarks in the Fo Ter. One full day, for the center, is enough in my view.

I can recommend Sopron as the place for various activities.
I can recommend Sopron as the place for various activities.
Historical monuments - the town has nice historical centre with many old houses (in course of renovation), churches and town walls.
Wine and Gastronomy - Go to the Tourist Information Office and ask for the guide: there are very good tips for restaurants with traditional Hungarian cuisine. For wine there are 2 very nice winebars or you can taste the wine in wine cellars.
Nature - the starting point to visit Lake Fertö National Park
SPA - I would recommend the thermal spa in Hegykö (15 minutes by car from Sopron)
The hotel has a very good kitchen with special waiters. The room where I stayed (212) had a very nicely and modern arranged bathroom benefiting from all the utilities. The room looked older. I appreciated that the air conditioning was very good, when it was 32 degrees outside. Let's not forget that it has only 3 stars and the ratio between what it offers and the price is exceptional. As mentioned on the booking. com has no elevator. Across the road there is a mall (Sopron Plaza) useful for guests.
It’s a hidden gem in the historic centre of Sopron. The small hotel is very cozy and original with a beautiful wine cellar where an excellent breakfast is served in the morning. The little inner courtyard is also delightful.
Jennifer at the reception desk is wonderful and the lady at the breakfast desk is very attentive to every need.
The room is clean and comfortable in terms of both the design and size.
An extremely comfortable and immaculately clean small, modern apartment located inside what appears to have been a baroque-era palace, with the additional convenience of a large and pleasant garden adjacent. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for a short stay. The location is a comfortable 20-minute walk from Sopron station, only half the distance from the old town centre, and close to a supermarket.
Location was a mile from sopron. Breakfast was good and there was several menu choices. Rooms were quiet and beds comfortable. Lots of parking. Beautiful terrace on third floor with view of the countryside. For a last minute booking I think this was a good choice. I wish I had more time to try out the pedicure or hair salon services that were in the building.
Lovely large apartment in Central Sopron. Very quiet with tasteful decor and many thoughtful extras. This made it a super comfortable place to stay for our nine days.
Krysztina was a great host and made us feel very welcome.
We will return for future visits.
Very nice Hotel (aimed for the Business traveller) with some great facilities - especially the outdoor pool in the morning was great for a swim. This can get bussy with kids during holidays and weekends. Breakfast buffet was generous and very nice.
One word...Super.fantastic location,quiet...big New flat(62m2)Value for Money👍💥and the most important...Sebastian(owner)very helpfull...a real Hospitaly professional. Thanks again...we will come back....A place tó stay if you go to Sopron
Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to shorten my stay last minute, beyond the last delay in booking. They helped me and it was done in 10 minutes. Great location. Breakfast viennoiserie is made freshly in the pension's own bakery.
Very nice reconstructed monastery, place was very quiet with good atmosphere. Everything was very clean, rooms was good furnished. Food in restaurant was perfect, hotel staff was kind and helpful. We felt very comfortable. Thanks.
The apartment is in a good location, very clean, very nicely decorated, and the yard is also very nice. The host was very friendly and a very helpful lady. Highly recommended to everyone who wants to stay in Sopron.
I have stayed in this hotel regularly for 15+ years at least once a year. It gets better but the check out time now and cost of breakfast respectively are too early and a bit expensive.
The bathtub in the room is a nice plus, and the wellness area is very nice and clean. The staff was nice, everyone speaks English and they are generally open to please your needs.
