Very quiet and beautiful location, easy to find, driving from Siegsdorf to Inzell, in the middle of Hammer you will find the exit to Meisau, just 3km later you will be directed to house number 4,5 and 6 up the hill to the right. The Baumgartner family are super friendly, helpful and great hosts. You will stay in a nice and roomy apartment, a separate bedroom and beautiful bathroom. A water kettle, fridge and cutlery are also in the room. In the morning they serve a healthy breakfast with a wonderful choice of fruit, bread and drinks.

Pension Langerspacher, a property with a terrace, is located in Grabenstätt, 40 km from Klessheim Castle, 43 km from Europark, as well as 44 km from Red Bull Arena. The owners/managers gave us an excellent breakfast and while language was a bit difficult sometimes, the mother (don’t know which her name was) went out of her way to engage us in conversation in spite of the fact my German is poor and her English non-existent. Her daughter was very attentive and, when I asked for a few extra towels, the house cleaner was very friendly and obliging. All-in-all, this place ended up being a very nice place to stay. Loved the beautiful stairway!

Breakfast was delicious with an excellent choice. I particularly liked the self-serve coffee machine and the ability to make myself a double-shot cappuccino. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful with huge gardens and a short tree-lined path to the lake. The box spring bed was a delight.

This traditional Bavarian guest house is situated at the foot of the Hochfelln mountain, amid the scenic hiking routes, mountain bike trails and cross-country ski runs of the Chiemgau region. Had a fantastic stay at hotel mariandl, the couple who owns the hotel were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is perfectly located, it’s close to the hochfelln cablecar and to cozy restaurants in the centre. I would stay here again if I ever go back to Bergen!
