Small town with amazing food options, gluten - free, dairy-free, vegetarian and other delicious options. Easy walking the 2-3 blocks for food choices and a few shops along the way. There is a store in town for good clothing and shoes for men, women and teens, choices like Levi’s, Columbia, Teva, etc.,
we ate at Peekaboo wood fire pizza - vegetarian, Wild Thyme Cafe and Asava Juice and Smoothies.
We were there for a wedding in Orderville (22 miles north) and if you want solitude go there. If you want a small western town feel and want food choices and hotel options it’s in Kenab.
We stayed at the old Parry motel for its easy outside access and its nostalgic feel but if you want newer hotels there’s plenty of offerings.

We were going to Kanab, also known as Little Hollywood,...
We were going to Kanab, also known as Little Hollywood, because Gunsmoke was filmed in the area. Part of the original set is visible today outside of town, although it is falling down. The main street of Kanab is lined with markers with information about various actors and actresses that were in Kanab to make movies, particularly in the Western heyday. The Parry Hotel where many of the actors stayed displays pictures of these guests, many autographed. There is a free Little Hollywood Museum that has a few movie set remains and props that will take about 15 minutes to see. Kanab seemed like it would be a good hub for visiting Bryce, Zion, the Grand Canyon, and several state parks. Also, there is a pharmacy in Kanab. Pharmacies are super spread out in the area.

Kanab is a nice little tourist town in a great location.
Kanab is a nice little tourist town in a great location. I've done three great guided hiking tours while here (Peekaboo slot canyon, South Coyote Butte, White Pocket) that I will never forget. Plus several wonderful national parks in the area. My complaint is a shortage of restaurants that serve breakfast. Also no bars, but alcohol is available in restaurants.

Kanab and surrounding area is one of our favorite places to visit. If you enjoy outdoors and are willing to leave your vehicle there's a lot to see and do. If your a snap shot tourist this isn't for you.
Sun-N-Sand hotel was a great place to stay on our trip to Kanab! The location was perfect! There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and a grocery store across the street from the hotel. The staff was great! There's a fire-pit in the common area, and the hotel staff made sure we had a nice warm fire to hangout by on a cold night. Would definitely stay here again!
The front desk was awesome, getting my room set up and providing additional information on the events in Kanab.
I try to stay at the Aiken every time I travel through Kanab because it is a well-kept, rustic motel in a well-kept jewel of a town. They have upgraded the appliances to retro (vintage 50's) style exterior and that adds a bit of flavor to the experience.
We felt very comfortable in this lovingly, comfortably and very practically furnished room with kitchen. The operators are warm and accommodating, which provides even more feel-good moments. For us, the Flagstone was a place where we wanted to stay longer and come back again and again. If Kanab, then the Flagstone :)! Absolute recommendation!
it was a really comfortable room. We had a great day. We stayed three nights while we explored Zion and Bryce national parks. It was awesome. We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was super delicious and felt like casual elegance in Kanab.
This motel is exactly what is advertised. Not a five star resort, but a clean, comfortable place to rest your head. That was what we needed. No swimming pool, no Jacuzzi, etc. Good location in Kanab, close to shops and restaurants. Great value.
You get what you pay for. We decided to stay in Kanab but didn't have a reservation. This was one of the last motels available so we got two rooms.
The pool was in decent condition and it had a 6 foot end. The kids loved that.
The room was exceptionally claim and spacious with many features not found in most hotels at this price it was one of the best rooms I've had in the last four or five years certainly the best value
The best Old Fashion hotel I've been to love! The desk girl was very friendly and the buffet for free. It is recommended to spend a pleasant time as a family or a romantic time.
The room had everything we needed, it was clean and the hotel was close to the restaurants. We had an issue with the toilet handle and they fixed it right away.
Nice, clean room and healthy breakfast with some yoghurt and fruit. Super friendly owners.
If you are looking for the best value in Kanab, don't look further.
Fantastic find! Sandy was a perfect host. The restaurant was delicious and the waitress, Taylor couldn’t have been more friendly. Best place to stay in Kanab!
The breakfast was very complete and in a nice place. The hotel and the room were confortable, clean and well maintained. Nice swiming pool. Parking included
