Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. The staff is friendly. The onsen is amazing.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. We had a fantastic time at Konsano. The private Onsen and dinner in our room were some of the highlights of our trip and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, special mention to our room clerk Etsuko who made us tea on arrival and served our meal. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on our first day, and the rooftop footbath was much needed after all our exploring!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Everything. Best accommodation I have been in my travel's life so far.

Mitsubikiya ligger i Matsumoto och erbjuder boende med trädgård, gemensam lounge och terrass samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Had to check in early which wasn't a problem. The two staff were great - they speak English quite well, and were very patient with our very poor Japanese. Dinner + Breakfast is really good (but you do need to let them know you would like to have dinner when you are making your booking).

八海 木花館 ligger i Oshino, 10 km från Fuji-Q Highland, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, gratis privat parkering och en trädgård. Dinner and breakfast are exceptional. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very private and secluded area which is perfect.

The host was incredibly sweet and accommodating, with lots of knowledge of the local area, including the best spots to take photos of Fuji. He gave us complimentary tea/coffee and snacks in our room, and kindly offered to drive us to the station after we checked out. Traditional atmospheric ryokan (room had a cozy kotatsu).

Oyado Yukizumi ligger i Kusatsu, 46 km från Jigokudanis appark, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. Boendet är rökfritt och ligger 14 km från Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. The breakfast was delicious. The staff brought the breakfast to our room. The hotel is across the street from the bus terminal. Lawson is next to the hotel and that makes shopping easy.

Ryutakuzenji 宿坊 ligger i Takasaki, 28 km från Principe Pio köpcenter, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge. We had a great time staying at Ryutakuzenji! The owner is very friendly and welcoming and provided a lot of great insights to the history of the property. This was definitely the most unique stay we had in Japan and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Mr. Tendou!
