Pedro and Sara were very hospitable hosts, and provided excellent and thorough information on things to see and do, as well as restaurant recommendations. All the amenities you might need were available. Breakfast and drinks were available, paid on the honour system, by donation, to replenish the supply. Guests tended to congregate in the common reception area/dining area, or on the beautiful terrace upstairs.

Smeštajni objekat Douro Village nudi vrt, zajednički salon, terasu i bar u gradu Vila Real. Everything was great, the staff is really nic and helpful, the hostel is beautiful and comfortable.

Located in a refurbished building featuring a summer terrace, Pousada de Juventude de Alijó features free WiFi access and a games room. The hostel provides private and shared accommodation. Room size with attached bath was comfortable for 2 people. The breakfast was good.

Smeštajni objekat Out of Town nudi sezonski bazen na otvorenom, vrt, zajednički salon i terasu u gradu Castelo de Paiva. Beautiful place in the nature, wonderful views and the swimming pool. The hosts are extremely nice and acommodating. It was our second time here, and we hope to come back. Highly recommended.

This Pousada de Juventude is located in Vila Nova de Foz Côa. It is 4 km from the Côa Valley Archeological Park, where visitors may observe cave paintings from from several thousand years ago. Nice building, lots of communal facilities without stress. Staff were very friendly and helped when they could.
